	Chez Nicholas Pretty renovated stone farmhouse in hamlet 10 km from Saintes, 25 km from Royan’s sandy beaches. This house was entirely rebuilt in 2000-2001, and combines modern bathroom and kitchen with traditional stone, beam and tile décor.
Chez Nicholas The main floor consists of a kitchen and living room. The kitchen is a delight for the cook, with a large refrigerator, gas stove, electric oven and dishwasher. It opens on to a furnished stone terrace, in a charming enclosed garden. This private garden has flowerbeds and fruit trees, but also a large lawn suitable for children to play on. The second floor has two bedrooms – one with a double bed, and one with two bunk beds – and a sparkling clean bathroom with WC, shower and sink. The main floor living room has a sofa bed, and can serve as a third bedroom. The location is ideal for exploring the region during the day and returning to peace and quiet in the evening. The nearest supermarket is 8 km away. There are public swimming pools in Pisany (4 km) and Saintes (10km), and the best beaches in France begin 25 km away at Royan. The area is full of cognac distilleries, farmers’ markets, excellent seafood, Roman ruins and fascinating antique stores. The owners are a French landscape artist and his English wife, who live in the hamlet and are pleased to welcome you.
